I took my Fitbit for a splash in the ocean today and now it won't work. I have submersed it before (shower, pool, etc.) What should I do? I plugged it in and it did not fix it. I have only had it since November and it is the Charge 3 so it is water safe, correct?

A warm welcome to the Community @MangoPineapple.
Regarding your inquiry, yes the Charge 3 is swimproof. For more information check the help article Can I swim or shower with my Fitbit device?.
Now, have you tried to restart the tracker? If you haven't, I recommend restarting it by following the instructions provided in the help article How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
Let me know the outcome.

My Fitbit charge 3 stopped working after a swim in the sea so I left it on charge and two days later is buzzy like crazy but nothing on the screen and won’t connect to my phones Bluetooth I have pool swam lots of times and sea swam before but never had this problem

I have had a similar problem, I had gotten my Fitbit 3 from Best Buy at the beginning of this year and now the screen is going out after coming from the beach and being in the ocean. I have taken it in the shower and in pools also. I have banged it on stuff while working but no cracks or scratches on the screen. But some how water or sea water got in there and not the screen is almost all the way out. Didn’t get a warranty from Best Buy cause had Heard so much good reviews, big mistake on my part. So just ordered a Fitbit 4 and should be here tomorrow and see how this one goes but I got a warranty this time, fingers crossed and won’t be going in any more water cause that water resistant or waterproof should not say 50m but 1cm😒

@RaadG It's nice to have you on board!
Please try the suggestions in @AlejandraFitbit 's post to see if your tracker responds to the restart.
Hope this helps.

The device stopped working all together which is bad as it is supposed to be water resistant. This is the 2nd time my charge 3 stopped working within the first year. This was my replacement already.

Mine died after literally 10 seconds in the ocean. Totally dead.

They told me mine was out of warranty. I said it isn't a warranty issue, when clearly the product isn't meant to be water resistant. I got left talking by myself in the chat. Very rude.
