Charge 3 stopped working after swimming with it

After multiple problems after swimming with my supposedly waterproof Charge 3 it’s finally stopped working entirely, While swimming last week it suddenly started vibrating like crazy in the water and the screen went blank. It won’t charge or sync, and won’t respond to a hard or soft reset. Died completely, What’s the solution?

I don't swim but the same happened to me! When I put the charging cable on it gets HOT so I think the battery is shot. I want to know,too.
