Charge 3 stopping exercise on its own

Hello!

I've the fitbit charge 3 and recently noticed when trying to do workouts, I set "walk" on the fitbit device & it will track the HR, steps, etc for about 2-3mins before automatically stopping...

I haven't touched it or stopped it but it isn't tracking my exercise at all so it kind of defeats the purpose in having it, yknow what I mean?

I've just done a 20 min workout & it's saying 0 active minutes. So it doesn't appear to be tracking my activity at all period, which might be why it's stopping the exercise?

I've looked through posts and can't seem to find a easy fix solution?

I've tried pairing, unpairing, restarting, resetting and nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Is the watch really broken already?

Thanks for getting back to us and for letting us know that your Charge 3 stops your workouts @Rosellie. Thank you for mentioning all the steps you have followed in order to resolve this situation.

Could you please try to set up your tracker as a replacement device? Follow the instructions of: How do I set up a replacement device or add a second device to my account?

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion but it didn't help 😞

Just did a workout then and about 6 minutes in it appears to have stopped, the screen was black & when I tapped the device the exercise/workout mode had turned off again.

This is really frustrating as its messing up all my workouts in the app (as I'm having to start them over so I've got like 3-4 smaller workouts listed) and I'm losing track of how long I've been working out for. Some "tracker" when it fails to track >;(

Any other ideas?
