Charge 3 stuck in a text message

A text message is stuck on my Fitbit screen. I cannot clear the message. The Fitbit also will not connect to my phone.

Did you try to reboot the device? Instructions can be found here.

Like any electronic device, Charge 3 can experience some software glitches - rebooting the device is the first option to try...

My device is also stuck on the message screen, but it also won't reboot.  It's a Charge 3.  I've looked up how to reboot it and tried multiple different suggested ways to no avail.  So it won't reboot, but it's also stuck on this message

Edit: well I got the screen to reset by changing the clock face.  Unfortunately about a week later, the screen went completely black and hasn't changed since.  It still works to record things, but it's useless as a display for anything.

Hi, so I have rebooted and started all over again twice but the screen is still stuck on the message and the option to clear, mark as read and delete is not responding either. I could wait for the battery to die out but its on 75% so will take awhile. Do you have anymore suggestions??

Money is doing the same and wouldnt reboot. I've changed the clockface and it seems to be working again.
