Welcome to the Community @Milara98.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. I recommend trying a long restart by doing the following:

  • Plug the device into the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable.
  • Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  • The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

Let me know the outcome. Robot Happy

Hi! I did all this, but still only smiley face since last night.

yesterday it was blank; I followed instructions and after the 8 seconds the smiley face turned on and it’s stuck !!  No vibrating, no Bluetooth connection. Nothing

Hi, I ended up leaving it for a few days to completely run out of battery.
Then did a reset & it worked.
However, the life of my battery ended up being terrible so I took it back and got a new one

I gave up because the watch kept losing time. When I contacted Fitbit I
was told they improved their software and it will no longer work with my
note 8. Good bye Fitbit, Hello Samsung.

Unfortunately this did not help mine, which is also stuck on the vibrating smiley face.

The intent is to get rid of the smiley face.  This solution ends with having the smiley face appear.  I’m confused.

Hello everyone. @dgogo It's great to see you around.

I'm sorry for any confusion. Regarding your concern, I'd like to let you know that it is normal that after the restart process, the smiley face will appear but it should be removed after a little while. The restart process can help to refresh the performance of your Charge 3.

If your Charge 3 is still stuck or not working correctly, please let me know.

I look forward to your response.

I’ve tried all the hard restart steps and still only get the smiley face. It won’t turn on so can’t even try letting battery run down. Everything is stuck as is for the last week.  Can it be fixed or is it done for good?

Hello @MrsEllis. Welcome to the community forums.

Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone and you can click here to get connected, but Phone wait times are longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat.
