Charge 3 suddenly vibrates, flashes green constantly and screens scroll back and forth

My fitbit started vibrating rapidly, green lights flashing and screens changing back and forth. Contacted help desk. did clock face change. No change. On advice attempt made to reboot which failed. 

Help desk indicated would forward to others and I needed to return to place of purchase for further help. Not acceptable answer. 

Now it is just vibrating and the smiley face face appears and disappears when on charger. 

If off the charger logo appears flashing with 001 underneath it is blank. Cannot press button on side of device. OR the screen goes totally blank

Never did get the issue resolved and now the fitbit randomly gives a slight pulse but the screen is blank and the button does not respond. I am gathering it is dead??

I was sent a discount for a new fitbit. 

Are the prices in US dollars or Canadian dollars?
