Charge 3 suddenly wont connect to Samsung Galaxy J6

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a charge 3 which was working fine until this morning. I tried syncing it and it wouldn't so I impaired it from my Bluetooth now it either can't find it or when it does it says "couldn't pair with charge 3. Check your charge 3 settings and try again".

I've rebooted my charge 3, reset the data and turned it off when it was on charge but still nothing. I don'know why it won't work when I didn't change any settings.

I have also tried charging the fitbit and my phone.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy J6.

Thanks

Jayne

@Jayniekinns Thanks for being part of our Community!

Let me help you with this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you clear the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following (that includes some steps you have already tried):

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.

Yes, I have tried all of that. The fitbit seemed to connect again but it's already gone back to where it will not sync.

I impaired it from my app, I then reconnected it which it has done but it won't pair with the Bluetooth.

I had no issues with my charge 2 so I don't know why the charge 3 isn't working.
