Charge 3 swim information inaccurate

I go to swim in a 25m pool and i set up in the Fitbit:

  • Poollength 25 m
  • Time 45 minutes. (i did 50 minutes)
  • I count the tracks of 25 m manually.
  • 40 tracks is 1000 m

Why after synchronising my I-phone tell me:

  • 1775 m total??? (it has to be 1000m)
  • 71 tracks??? (it has to be 40)

Today in the same pool and the same settings in Charge 3:

  • I did 40 tracks count manually is 1000m.
  • Why i phone said this time: 1425m in 57 tracks?
  • Why different with last time: 1775m in 71 tracks?
  • Same tracks, same distance, same time: 40 tracks in 50 minutes.

What is wrong, help me please.

Welcome to the Community, @Bali-Ad.

Thanks for the information provided. Inconsistencies in your swim data may be caused by any of the following:

  • You completed only a few laps
  • You stopped to rest multiple times or in the middle of the pool
  • You stopped to rest for longer than 60 seconds after completing a pool length
  • You changed your stroke type midway through a length
  • You swam with a kickboard or without using your arms
  • You swam less than the minimum duration needed for your swim to be automatically recognized

Let me know the outcome. 🙂
