Charge 3 too dim after last update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought my charge 3 last year. Being a fitness watch it should be able to take a little bit of wear but after the last update the screen has suddenly become too dim. I cannot see any numbers. Neither is restarting the watch helping with this. I can also see some black spots have recently appeared on the clock face. This was not the case before and now suddenly when my product is out of warranty, an update or a manufacturing defect does something like this to the product. And I’m not alone in this, there are hundreds of such comments across this forum and other websites. Fitbit please give me a replacement or I’ll be forced to take an action against the company.

Check you are not accidentally in Sleep Mode, intentionally keeping display dim.  You can find that in Settings, or holding in side button a few seconds.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

No not at all. I am in normal mode with normal brightness. The screen is just dim no matter what I do.
