My charge 3 just started showing thousands of steps but it has been on the charger and i havent had it on. It dits on the dresser and thenthe app and fitbit will show 27000 steps.

Hi @Jmsc3, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since it shows a huge amount of steps that were not taken.

 

Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains why your Fitbit device may track extra steps. Finally, monitor your tracker during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
