Charge 3 tracked too many steps

Hi. I woke up this morning and my fitbit had already logged 66,000 steps! This happens once every 2 weeks roughly, where the steps jump to over 60,000 but usually in the evening. Is there a way to reset the steps and calories?

Hello @NikWar21. Welcome to the community forums!

Thank you for the information. This is very odd and I'd recommend restarting your Charge 3 to refresh its performance. For this, please follow the steps provided in this link: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

In addition, please verify that the Fitbit App is up to date. Lastly, there isn't a way to delete steps or calories but you can log a non-step-based activity such as driving to override the steps tracked by your Charge 3. For this, please check: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Hope this helps.
