Hi,
I’m hoping someone can help. I take my charge 3 off at night and leave it next to the bed. It has started recording heart rate readings while I’m sleeping and it’s not being worn. They are incredibly high readings and can last for hours at a time.
Anyone experienced anything similar or have any idea what’s going on?
I’m a bit worried the heart rate monitor is completely faulty and won’t be doing the right job during the day either.
Thanks,
Emma

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the heart rate tracking issue that your Charge 3 has experienced, I would like to know if you left your device on a surface that vibrates such as a desk with a computer or an AC system.
In the meantime, restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, monitor the behavior of your Charge 3 and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thank you for the advice. I will have a go at restarting it and see what happens.
I can’t think of anything that would vibrate and disturb it, although it does seem to be the same time that it happens.
Thanks again.
I’ll let you know how the restart goes.

Hi,
I have restarted the Fitbit but the problem seems to have gotten worse. It is recording exercise when I’m not doing any quite regularly now and is still recording data often when I’m not wearing it.
