Charge 3 unlocking on it's own? Won't hold a charge.

Has anyone had this issue? I was out for a walk one day and all of a sudden my Charge 3 started unlocking, locking and vibrating all on it's own. I let it die and tried charging it but the issue only continued. Anyone have any suggestions?

What do you mean unlocking and locking?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

 The button on the side seems to be acting up and causing the screen to open and then close again, like open to information and then black out again.
