Charge 3 vibrating and blinking randomly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

At first the fit-bit charge 3 started vibrating, then the notification screen kept blinking. then it died.I manage to do an restart on it before it died.  I let it charge to the full. it lasted for an hour then it was dead again. It stayed non-responsive. It wouldn't charge. completely dead, so I thought. This morning (12/26/2018) I tried it again, it responded by blinking, vibrating and switching between screens again.

I have been experiencing this same thing and the 15-second method only fixes the problem temporarily.

Best Answer

I have the same problem. I'm frustrated because I the only "help" I get is being told to perform the 15-second method.

I am having the exact same problem describe by so many here in the 'community'. I have repeatedly performed the 15-second method and the problem persists. How do I go about having my Fitbit replaced or repaired? I have only had this Fitbit since August 2019.

I have a "case" opened -

Charge 3 - Display - #35947089

The only 'help'  got was a link to a help page and the advice to perform the 15-second method, which I have repeated performed. My problem persists.

Same thing is now happening to mine.  It started with black lines going through the screen.  I thought I could live with that because I can still go on the app to see stats but now today, it is vibrating and switching screens.  I have tried the 15 second idea also, now mine won't even turn on.  I am so fed up with Fitbit.  I have owned many Fitbits and they are not made to last more than a year.

I’d recommend you call the Fitbit customer service 800 number. But do it before August if that’s when your warranty ends.

I’d agree that the life of any Fitbit year is about one year, or less.

New issue. My charger 3 will not connect and the time is off but 1/2 hour. Soooo disappointing.

I have the same issue with the erratic vibrations and flashing screen. I’m trying to reboot and it won’t accept my ‘tick’ on the screen. It just reverts back to the Screen Wake screen. I’ve tried the recommended reboot. It won’t even shut down when I hold the button for 15 seconds. Can someone please help me? My device isn’t even a year old and has never been dropped. Cheers, Ally

Call FitBit and you should get a replacement for free! They are great when
your Fitbit is less than a year old. I moved to my daughters Fitbit and
when this dies I’ll move to an Apple Watch. These Fitbits aren’t built to
last. 😢 I love Fitbit but buying a new one every couple of years is not
great!

Had this problem with vibrating until the battery died.  After seven resets it stopped vibrating and stayed on.  Less than 24 hours it happened again then the screen wouldn't turn on at all.  Again, multiple restarts including several 15 second ones.  Finally turned back on, but now I'm worried about it happening again.  Anything I should do while it's "alive?"
