Hi all,
My Charge 3 randomly stopped working today. I get a black screen and it is not syncing with my phone (assume the catalyst was me being away from my phone and it disconnecting maybe).
When I press on the reset button, there is a long continuous vibration, for as long as I hold it up to about 8 seconds. I have tried plugging it in but it doesn't recognise the charger. I have also tried changing the clock face but it has somehow disconnected.
Any ideas?
Update: two days later,and still not turning on. I let it die as it was constantly vibrating. I finally have the smiley face after plugging it in but can't go any further.

I have the same problem, I found out today... yesterday the battery went low very fast, and I think my Charge 3 died during the night. And in the morning I couldn’t see anything on there. Black screen! When I try to charge it, it won’t charge and when I press the side button it just vibrates!!

Same here, I have had an issue with syncing too, followed all the advice on updates, restarting etc. Removed my charge 3 from the app and now I can’t reconnect it via my Bluetooth. So frustrating, I have been trying for 2 days. I can occasionally get it to find my Fitbit, but then it hangs on “connecting” and I can’t get any further. Please help!

Yes that is very strange! My tracker still doesn’t work, day 5 now. Don’t believe he’s ever gonna work again 🙁

Exactly the same here! Have done 8 second reboot and longer 15 second. Have disconnected it, but now can’t see the screen to input the 4 digits to reconnect it.

I have the same problem but it started today! I woke up and the screen was black but the side button will still vibrate when you press it, the screen just doesn’t turn on 😩 I really hope this doesn’t mean it’s dead for good. I’ve only had it for alittle over a year

Yes I’m having the same issue. I woke up and my Fitbit was 74% and then all of a sudden it was dead. I charged it to full battery and went about my day. Then in the afternoon, it was a black screen but kept vibrating. I clicked the side button and tapped the screen and nothing. Eventually it died but now I’m trying to restart it and now that’s not working. Please help

I have same problem, now it is DEAD!
Can this be repaired? I believe it is still under Warranty

Mine did something similar over the weekend. I bought it in April, this is so frustrating! Now my screen is completely unresponsive even though I had 98 percent battery life left. It started flickering and then later in the day it started vibrating on and off as well and now it's not working at all. I've babied mine, I won't even take it in the shower...I am wondering if there was an update that caused so many of us to have an issue all at once.

Hi all, an update on this issue: I have just been on with the support team who walked me through resetting (both the short and long version) and neither worked. It seems that perhaps it is an issue that is only solved through a replacement.

I have been having the same issue. Very disappointed. Was not able to call this morning but got onto a help chat and after all the other troubleshooting didn’t work they gave me a link for 25% off a new products. Very disappointed, not a good deal for a product that should have lasted me much much longer. Will be calling later today when I have time and hope to get a better response and hopefully a replacement.

Update: I have phoned customer services today and they went through the update and my fitbit still didnt work so they have sent me a link by email to either have a free replacement or 50% off a newer version.

After crazy vibrations it finally died and will not turn on, vibrate, or show anything. I found my old HR fitbit and turned it back on. Do I need a new charger for the Charge 3?

I also got a link by email so I can get a new (or refurbished, both possible options according to the person I talked on the phone) tracker. Or the possibility to get 50% off for a new tracker, accept the charge 4 😔.
So make a call to the customer services and you will have a working tracker soon!

Update: gave them a call and no luck. My Fitbit is no longer on warranty so they would not give me a free replacement or 50%. Just a measly 25% off I can use in 30 days. Honestly have not been more disappointed in a product or customer service. The fact that it’s literally only the screen and the rest of the device still works and I am expected to buy a new one after I’ve had mine only 18 months and kept it in great condition... Will not be supporting Fitbit again and am going to look into other trackers.

I fear this will be the same in my case. Had mine around 17 months and has worked no problem till last Saturday, when everything went dark!!!
hoping Fitbit will replace but if not then will be reviewing the market for a replacement, and will take their response into account when doing this!!
