Charge 3 went blank/dark

Has not synced since yesterday. It had totally went blank/dark yesterday, I read to do a reboot by hooking it up to the charger so I did that. I've rebooted just in watch twice this morning, checked phone settings, turned off the Bluetooth and reconnected it. Last time I had to do a hard reboot and lost all my info and I don't want to do that again. I need help!

It's great to see you around @Babs2574.

Thanks for troubleshooting this display issue by yourself. I recommend restarting the tracker. If the restart process doesn't work, perform a long restart:

  • Plug the device into the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable.
  • Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  • The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

If these steps don't work, change your clock face by following the instructions provide in the help article How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?. If the tracker isn't syncing at all, follow the steps in the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.

Keep me posted. Smiley Happy

This problem happened to me also— suddenly dark screen on the Charge and the button didn’t do anything. The steps in the reply below worked for me. Thanks!
