On May 29, my Charge 3 stopped holding a charge. I woke up to it giving me the low battery signal. I charged it to 100% and only a couple hours later, it started giving the low battery signal again. This continued to happen throughout the day. I have charged it at least 10 times in the last couple of days but it keeps dying. I restarted it as well as rebooted it, hoping that would fix the issue. It continues to have the same problem. Fitbit Support was no help. All they did was give me a code to buy a new one. I have had this watch since March of last year. I should not need a new one already. Has anyone had a similar problem? Were you able to fix it?

The same thing happened to me! On May 29, my charge 3 also stopped holding a charge. I purchased my device in March of this year.

I purchased my Fitbit3 in May 2019. I am having the same problem. The last sleep information I got was 5/30 and it was incomplete.

I went to https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs
I had a live chat with a fitbit agent. In the end they replaced my fitbit with no cost! It might depend on your warranty status, but hopefully this helps some of you!

This has also just happened to me and to my mother's device. Fitbit is saying its an "unexpected occurance" and insisting the only thing they can do is offer a 20% discount off another fitbit, which will probably have another fatal flaw in 1 year.

I was told the same thing. It's only a little over a year old and it already stopped working. I had my last fitbit charge for 4 years. They can't do anything but gave me a discount. I don't want to buy another watch that will break in a year. These are not cheap products.

I purchased the LETSCOM fitness tracker from Amazon. It was $25 and seems like it can do everything the Fitbit Charge 3 can do. I wanted to share this since it's an inexpensive alternative. I have been using it for a couple of days, and so far, it has been working well. I'm glad I found this option since I really didn't want to spend so much on another Charge when there was no guarantee that the battery wouldn't just stop working again and Fitbit Customer Service doesn't help.

My Fitbit isn’t holding the charge. I’ve cleaned it four times and restarted it twice. Still not holding the charge. Customer Service Agent wants me to follow the following instructions;
"If you still believe your battery is not lasting as long as expected, we’d like you to do a battery test to see how long your battery lasts after a full charge. Please do the following:
1. Disable the features that can impact battery life as described in https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2004
2. Fully charge your tracker.
3. Sync your tracker 5-6 times a day.
4. Wear your tracker until it is fully depleted.
When your battery is completely drained, meaning that your tracker is no longer responsive and you no longer see the low battery indicator, let us know the day you fully charged your tracker and the day it was fully depleted.
With this information, we’ll be able to better research how long your tracker's battery is lasting".
This has been done already.
Now I have to wait to see what their next step is going to be before anyone can proceed.
Major bummer!
