I just purchased the FitBit Charger 3 and it only lights up or works when it's charging on a power outlet . It's been charging for about 2 hours and still has this problem .How long is the recomended time for charging ?

I have tried what’s has been suggested on the group. Unfortunately my charge 3 will not charge. I can feel it pulsing when I press the button while charging, but the screen remains blank.

Have had my Charge 3 since last April and have had no issues. As of 2 days ago it will not charge. I have completed all the steps recommended to fix the problem without a positive result. Has been on charger since last evening without result. It does vibrate and appear to be charging but the charge level never changes. Help!

I'm having same issue -tried everything suggested and to joy. Had this issue with charge 2 and was replaced under John Lewis warranty (otherwise wouldn't have bought another Fitbit due to issues with Charge 2)
Anyone know the UK tel number for Fitbit please?

My one month old Fitbit Charge3 charged the first time and then stopped charging. I called Fitbit and they sent a replacement. The replacement arrived today. It is not charging either.,..seems like "user error" but I've been using Fitbit Charge 2 for a couple of years and Charge 3 is about the same. Arghhh.

I have tried all these steps. my fitbit charge 3 will not charge at all. i tried the reset a couple times. i get the smiley face and then the screen goes blank. tbh i havent really used it much since june which is when i last synced it, and then this happened recently. it vibrates when i press the thing on the side. i somehow got the loading screen to pop up for like a second but thats gone now. i even tried using my friends charger which works for him but it still wont charge mine.

I have the same problem with my fitbit. I have followed all the instructions on all the links in this thread: I tried different chargers, I tried different ports, I checked the charger pins, I checked the contacts on the fitbit for cleanliness, I reset the fitbit (power on/off) several times. The fitbit has never gotten wet, and I take it off if I'm doing any heavy work that would risk damaging it.
In addition, I measured the voltage on pins on the charger cable - 5.0V so clearly that is fine. (I'm an electrical engineer)
This is the 2nd time this has happened to me in the last few days. It somehow did charge a couple of days ago (but VERY slowly).
What do I try next?

I have tried all the options given.
Still it is not charging, it is on only when connected to power outlet. As soon as it is removed goes off again.
The heart rate sensor is also off.
Please assist

Heart rate sensor also not working.
It was working well, then saddenly started to vibrate continuously and at the mid night day before yesterday it went off

I created a service issue (someone referenced that in the thread above). Since my device was less than a year old, it was still under warranty. After a short time on the phone verifying all the various steps I had tried (new charger bricks, different wall outlets, resetting the device, LONG resetting the device, etc..) the nice agent on the phone sent me a replacement.
The new one is working fine. The replacement comes without a wristband, or charger - you must re-use your previous ones.

Hi, my charge 3 has stopped charging.
I have tried the suggested steps for cleaning etc etc but still no joy.
I have tried the soft reset option but that doesn’t work (unable to reset).
I have cleared data & also rebooted through settings on my device but still doesn’t charge..
