My charge 3 wouldn't sync and its last sync was 25/10, I rebooted the charge, after looking at the forums it suggested I disconnected from Bluetooth, turn Bluetooth off and on I’ve restarted the charge 3 and done a factory reset, I’ve deleted and reinstalled app restarted my phone a number of times, I have tried many times to add the device to my account and getting nowhere, my fitbit was a replacement and only had it since September I'm am furious. 🤬

I am having the exact same problem, just started today. Have gone through all the steps you just listed, numerous times. Still will not sync. I called customer support and they can only take you through the steps for which you’re able to do yourself, while treating you like you are stupid, total waste of my time.
