I’ve had issues with my charge 3 ever since I bought it. When I purchased it in July 2019 I had an ancient iPhone 6s that didn’t have working WiFi half the time and gps also didn’t work so I assumed my inability to connect to my iPhone was associated with that. It would connect to an old android device perfectly and occasionally would connect to my iPad. Eventually I got it to connect to my iPhone for a while and then it stopped syncing again. I finally gave up and when in May of this year when the screen wouldn’t work I just threw it in a drawer and left it.
today I randomly decided to see if it would turn on and it did! But I’m STILL having major connection issues with my now iPhone 7 that works perfectly.
tried connecting to an android device and again it connected perfectly. I updated the firmware. Unpaired it from the android and tried pairing/replacing it on my iPhone app and again. It will “see” the charge 3 but will sit there for hours trying to connect to it and finish pairing, which it hasn’t yet actually ever done.
ive tried ever suggestion I can find anywhere. I’m so DONE! It’s been problem after problem after problem with this device! Anyone have anything I haven’t tried? I’ve reset factory settings multiple times, latest app, latest firmware, latest iOS update... I’ve deleted and reloaded apps, background app refresh is on. I’ve tried it plugged in and not plugged in. I’ve done everything I’ve ever seen suggested and nothing yet.
