Charge 3 won't connect to my Samsung A51

I have a charge 3 and samsung a51 phone but my fitbit no longer connecting to bluetooth. It says app needed to use device also says couldnt connect LE device. Both phone and fitbit fully charged

Hi there, @Mysticlady04. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Charge 3.

I'd recommend trying the following steps:

  • Unpair your Charge 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Charge 3.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Charge 3.
  • Once your Charge 3 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I dont have any other devices connected to bluetooth, i have unistalled app and reinstalled it. I also restarted my phone. 

 

Update: I cant unpair fitbit from bluetooth as its not connected thats the trouble

My fitbit is connected to app on my phone as its tracking my steps etc its not connecting to bluetooth on phone to allow me to get msges when i recieved email or phone calls. I have checked that the do not disturb is off too

@Mysticlady04 Are you getting any error message in the Fitbit app regarding the notifications not working? If so, may I know what it says?

No notifications of errors. I have added fitbit to app and thats resolved issue except fitbit is not vibrating when i get an email or message. I have checked app and notification is on and do not disturb is off on fitbit
