I am trying to fix my fitbit and in the process i uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app and now in the process of trying to set up my fit bit charge 3 unfortunately it is failing to connect despite being charged and all other blue tooth devices are moved away. So now I have too problems the time on my fit bit 3 is wrong and isnt connecting despite all the usual troubleshooting.

Hi @Lindylou78, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is not connecting with your phone. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, try setting up your tracker from scratch as instructed in this help page.
