Charge 3 won't hold a charge

I bought my Fitbit charge 3 over a year ago. Had no problem with it until now. The battery doesn’t last an hour. I charged it was 100% and after an hour is completely drained. Also is doesn’t track my heart rate anymore. I tried to reboot it and isn’t working. What shall I do?

I found if I charged it till it said 100%, then went into settings on the Charge 3 and rebooted it would then be saying 4% or 5% again. So I would charge it again. I did this over and over, maybe 10 to 15 times until it would say above 90% after the reboot. That got it back to charging properly and would hold the charge for the week like usual.
