After doing the update, my Fitbit won’t hold its charge and it also discounted itself from my iPhone X.
I deleted the app Then reinstalled It, reset the Fitbit and synced back with my phone. Fitbit was showing 70% charge then 15 mins later dead.
I charged up to 100% and was flat again within 5 hours.
I have closed all notifications heart rate etc and this evening it would not even charge.

Hi @Debbieallen, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since the battery is draining fast. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
Please try the tips that are listed in this help article in order to improve the battery life of your tracker. This article contains tips that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Finally, charge your Charge 3 for 2-3 hours and see if it doesn't drain fast.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

try
factory hard reset:
For this my charge 3 was NOT linked to my phone since that was connected to my charge 4. Don't know if that matters.
Charger not connected to watch, on watch swipe to settings/about/"Clear user Data" and press that.
After that my charge 3 now discharges VERY slowly like it should.
