Charge 3 won't hold charge

It froze up then started vibrating know won't hold charge

I am sorry to hear that your tracker isn't holding a charge. The battery in Fitbit Charge 3 can last approximately 7 days. Because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary. Consider these tips when you want to conserve battery life:

  • Turn off the option to wake the screen when you turn your wrist:
    1. On your tracker, press and hold the button. For Fitbit Pay-enabled devices, swipe right to access the Quick Settings screen.
    2. Tap Screen Wake to adjust the setting.
  • If you don't need heart rate data, change the Heart Rate setting to Off. For more information, see What should I know about my heart rate data?
  • Turn off notifications from your phone if you know you're going to receive many hundreds of notifications. A large volume reduces battery life. 
  • On Charge 2 and Charge 3, use guided breathing sessions less frequently. Multiple sessions per day may reduce battery life. For more information see What should I know about the Relax app on my Fitbit device? Also consider turning off bedtime reminders.
  • If you have many silent alarms set, consider deleting some. Each alarm you add up to the maximum of 8 reduces battery life by a small percentage. 
  • Don't charge your tracker in extreme heat or cold. For best practices, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?

That won't help don't hold charge more then 1/2 an hour

My new charge 3 stop holding a charge and now won't even hold a charge or turn off. Can I return it? I have gone thru the all the recommendations and nothing works, please help me

I tried all the steps that were suggested and my charge3 battery will last for an hour, turn to a black screen  and  pulsates continuously. Help advised me.
