My charge 3 won't pair to my phone and is stuck on the smiley face, I've tried all the trouble shooting steps but it will not work.

I am also unable to pair my charge 3 to the app since the upgrade to the app at the end of September. Have tried go get a response from fitbit but no one there seems interested. I had absolutley no issues since that upgrade - have an up to date android phone and am not a fool when it comes to electronics and technology. The only reason i unpaired it was it is one of the recommended steps when the device stopped synching. Now it won't re-pair - getting only as far as the 4 digit code and then takes ages before it comes up as unsuccessful. Cynically I think it is a ploy to phase out charge 3 support and push us to get a more up to date device - my next one is unlikley to be a fitbit unless they come up with a solution!

At what step of the setup process does the failure occurs? Any error messages? Is this a new tracker?
What phone? Denver we setup the tracker through the Fitbit app. Then once setup the app, not the user, pairs the tracker to the Bluetooth.

Same exact thing happened to me! It has been working perfectly for a few months and then after I updated the app I couldn't sync anymore. I unpaired it and now I can't pair it at all.
