I have had my charge 3 since Christmas. It stopped syncing today. Tried everything :updated app. Restarted Fitbit. Restarted phone, . Rebooted the Fitbit. (All multiple times)The phone could not find the Fitbit on bluetooth. After 3 hours, finally got it to pair with the phone, but still wouldn't update. Unpaired Fitbit and added it again, but now it won't pair. My phone says to check the settings on the Fitbit. The Fitbit cannot be found by my samsung 9 and will not pair with it. Totally frustrating

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Maunaleo! Thanks so much for all the steps you've tried in order to solve the pairing and syncing issues. Nice way to go!
While reading your post, my first thought is that your Charge 3 might be no longer paired to your Fitbit account and that's why it's not syncing or connecting to your phone's Bluetooth. In order to solve this, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Charge 3 and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device" or "Unpair".
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
If you continue to have syncing or pairing difficulties, see: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? or Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
Hope that helps, keep me posted!

@MarreFitbit I am having the same issue. As the OP stated She had done I also purposefully removed the charge 3 from paired devices to try to fix the issue and now the device won't paor qith my phone at all. I have rebooted everything a million times. It also shut off a workout 3 miles in. The steps are showing in the app but the calories burned and the workout are not.

MarreFitbit,
On Samsung, the bluetooth devices listed do not have a "!" next to them. You click on the settings icon (a gear) and that will take you to a menu where you can unpair the device. The "!" icon is for Apple devices, IIRC.
And it sounds like problem is the bluetooth transmitter has failed on his tracker, too. Common problem.

Hi @James_Vierkant! Thanks so much for your input.
If the phone is managing multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously:
These interruptions are typically caused by operating system and Bluetooth limitations. It's also possible that an app on your phone is causing the issue.
If you have an Android phone, try these steps:
The API used in these apps makes it difficult for Fitbit to communicate reliably with your phone. Ford provides a list of apps but note that other companies may use the API as well.
Catch you later!

MarreFitbit,
Odd that this would be an issue. Other trackers do not have problems sharing bluetooth with streaming or always-on services. Why is there a limitation with this generation of FitBits? My other, much older (2015), tracker that I'm now using with my Samsung S9 phone has no problem tracking and live-syncing my heart rate and exercise data with my phone while the phone is playing music to my Bose headphones or Rock Out speaker and collecting real-time data from two Wahoo sensors (crank and wheel revolutions), all via bluetooth. Something just doesn't add up here.

I just found permissions in the Fitbit app and it synced with Bluetooth on its own

I am having the same issue. I have tried to re-install and it will not sync into the Bluetooth. Tells me to retry, turn Bluetooth on and off. I have restarted my phone, I have turned the Bluetooth on and off so many times. Nothing works. This is my 4th Fitbit and may be my last one. I have had syncing issues with this one for the last week. Very disgusted!
