I recently performed a factory reset on a moto g6 running Android 9 and security patched Dec 1 2019. Previously SMS notifications WERE working. Having re-installed the current version of the app from the Google Play store, I find that now Notifications are not working for both calls, Text Messages and Calendar events. If the issue lies with the SMS app (Textra) then it doesn't work for the stock SMS app that comes with Android. The other notifications (calls, calendar) doesn't work either. In the Fitbit app, I set the "Calls" button enabled and set the Textra app to be the SMS app used. In the Notifications ellipsis I select "Send a Test Call Notification". It does nothing! I'm certain I've done everything possible to isolate this to be a bug in the Fitbit app. Where can I obtain a previous - less buggy version of the app?

Hello there @Al_Ski, thanks for stopping by and for the details provided about the notifications not coming through your Charge 2. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot the notifications prior to posting here.
Currently, your Moto G6 is not yet included in our list of supported devices. This may be the root cause of the issue. You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
In case you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article: Why are notifications delayed or missing?
Let me know if there's anything else I may do to help you.

Funny that my moto g6 had worked day that I bought it with use of the Fitbit app. It is only since upgrading the device to the latest app a I seeing notification issues. Being an embedded developer myself, I understand your position with this response. Your blog is full of the same issues with countless users and yet not helpful with this response to me.
