I read a lot of the same articles about my fitbit charge 3 not syncing. I tried everything, even called customer support and spoke to a kind gentleman who walked me through updating and rebooting both my phone and charge 3. It still doesn't fully sync text messages or track sleep. He even confirmed that both my iphone 6s Plus and my fitbit had the most recent updates. They both are. I am at a loss, the answer I received was "Well, I hope it eventually works for you, it was purchased in June 2019, and you're out of warranty so good luck to you." I am really sad that I purchased this product. I had the blaze and the fitbit 2 which both worked wonderfully. I guess I will just throw this one out as it does not serve it's purpose and go back to the fitbit 2. I wanted this one for the water resistant feature. I hope you get this message so you can let others know who have an older iphone not to purchase this since it won't work.

Hello there @onebradday, welcome to the Community Forums. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this situation. I appreciate your feedback for the Fitbit Charge 3.
Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. I'm glad to hear that our Support Team walked you through them.
In regard to the issue you're experience, please note that we’re aware that some customers may experience a compatibility issue with notifications after updating their iPhone to iOS 13. Find help here.
In regards to your sleep, if your Charge 3 is not tracking your data I'd recommend taking a look at the help article: Why don't I see sleep stages today?
About the water resistant feature, Charge 3 is water resistant up to 50 meters for use in the pool, ocean, shower or rain.
Just make sure you're rising off the salt water after an ocean dip to prevent salt buildup, as with any other device. For more information about wearing your Fitbit device, see our Wear and Care page.
Let me know if there's anything else I may do to help you in the meantime.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...
