my charge 3 frequently records part of sleep only. Mostly the missing part is 1 to 2 hours of initial part. Can anybody have similar problem and solution if any?

Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your sleep.
Finally, monitor your tracker and see if it tracks your sleep properly.

Mine is always 1 or 2 hours off. I edit the time it said i went to sleep. But I don't know how accurate that is. It then is light sleep unti it is the time it said.

Have the same issue with both charge 3 Fitbit. One would not give a sleep scourge at all, a test did fix that but still have the issue on both that the sleep analysis is always about 2 hrs after I actually go to sleep. Go to bed at 11:30pm and sleep log shows 1:00am to 7:30am. Very frustrating as we purchase Fitbit for this feature and pay for premium package to get the analysis.
