Charge 3 won't registering heart rate

The heart rate monitor has stooped working on my charge 3. I've tried rebooting the tracker, tried turning off and back on the heart rate monitor option. I've tried everything I've read to do and nothing has helped. Not having the heart rate affects my active minutes
