My charger 3 won't stop vibrating and flashing Wake Screen Notification. Did this for an hour yesterday and woke me up again this morning.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Redrockjan! If your Charge 3 won't stop vibrating, I'd recommend restarting it by following these steps:
- Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
- Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
- Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
- Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
- Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
If the restart does not work, I suggest to manually reboot your device. From the clock face, swipe to Settings and tap Reboot Device.
Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

My charge 3 started glitching flashing from **ahem** to other screens. Plugged it for about an hour now has smiling face and won’t stop vibrating. I’ve tried to reboot it by holding side for 8 seconds with no prevail.

This is useless, I have preformed all these steps and still can’t do anything with it, now the screen isn’t even working the unit is dead. When I connect to the charger unit it now gives the line like it’s resetting but it doesn’t ever reset. It sat like that for 2 full days.
I bought two of these and have already had to replace one this is the second unit which my boyfriend gave to me while we waited for the replacement for my original unit.
I am not impressed at all. I never had any issues with my Fitbit Alta HR, since getting his one though it’s been nothing but problems.

After upgrade last night my Fitbit charge 3 started doing the same as mentioned by other users.
I restarted and rebooted, but it keeps vibrating and flashing active screen/notifications.
Any other ideas on solving this problem?

Eventually what worked for me was letting the battery die twice and then fully recharge. I tried all the reset options before that, so I'm not sure what did the trick.

I have tried resetting my charge 3 and rebooting it. Nothing is helping. Can anyone give me other idea of what to do? It’s very frustrating!

I too am having the same issues as many before me about the screen flashing and constant vibrating. I have done all the “fixes” listed below and nothing. I have to agree with others... since they pushed out an update, the device has not been the same and its totally frustrating. I have already replaced this watch once and if I need to do it again... I am getting another brand. Such a shame!

Hi,
I have had the exact same problems recently and the Fitbit hasn't stopped since. I have tried both troubleshooting it with the 2 sets of instruction given and they won't work.
The Fitbit won't allow me to sync the the application and when charging it, it won't allow it self to "power down"
Any other recommendations will be great

Include me in this group too, I called and they told me to send it in for replacement (2nd replacement), they provided the mailing label.
it appears the return service is someone walking it cross country as it’s been over two and a half weeks in transit so far. So frustrating this product has deep issues
