My charger 3 won't stop vibrating and flashing Wake Screen Notification. Did this for an hour yesterday and woke me up again this morning.

I too have done everything asked of me, but nothing stops it from vibrating and changing screen. I am going to wait until my new charger comes before I bin it totally. I mean, I sent away for a new $15 charger as I figured not much money to "waste" if it wasn't that. Then I saw all of the issues with the Charge 3 on this forum. Figured I have wasted my money, but ..... never know my luck. I am the same as you - different manufacturer as I have lost confidence with the Charge model. Even the 4 sounds like there are hardly any changes, so will the fault go with that ??  Not willing to risk it. But when it worked, my wife loved it. My old "Blaze" still works well, so happy with that - touch wood.

Good luck.

I have tried this at least three times and it has not fixed the issue.  The screen keeps flashing and it is vibrating very quickly.  When I perform the steps listed in the reset, it acts like it has worked until I unplug it from the charging cable, then the vibration and flashing starts all over again. It was fine until I attached the charging cable due to a low battery.

I binned the Charge 3 after FitBit replaced the unit due to being under
warranty.

They were actually great about it.

I had to try a pile of things, but in the end I had a choice of a
replacement 3 unit or a new Charge 4 at half price.

Went for the new 3 unit as my wife was used to it, had lots of bands etc..

We figured if it does the same thing, then I would look at a different
brand.

BUT, my Blaze is around 4 years old and working fine, so maybe the model or
maybe a bad batch - who knows, but FitBit came to the party, so I will stay
as a customer for now.

Same problem here, and this is my THIRD defective Fitbit Charge 3 - first two were also defective, wouldn't stop flashing and buzzing even after resetting numerous times. Sometimes the "smiley face" would appear, other times no response. Called support and they took me through the longer reset (15 seconds) - still didn't work. They are replacing it again (FOURTH one), but since the warranty does not reset with the replacement I'll probably be out of luck next time.

Hi. I bought my fitbit charge 3 in January 2020 and within the last hour, it started vibrating and flashing through between the clock face and the notifications screen. I have rebooted it based on the advice in this forum but it won't stop flashing. Do I request a new one or is there something else I can do?

Thank you!

Don't wait any longer - get it replaced.

Next thing you know the warranty has run out.

Let them know and they will assist you.

I had to complete some things to see if it was something else, but in the
end they replaced it for us.

Good to deal with.

Good Luck

Ended up upgrading since there was no fix. But they gave me a 50% off deal so wasn’t too upset about that

I tried the reboot suggestion with the charger. It started flashing more often.  Strangely, under settings I do not have a reboot option. Is there anything else that I can try?

How do I go about getting a new one? While the flashing and buzzing has stopped, it's not tracking as well as it used to and doesn't hold a charge as long.

Having the same issue. Tried the directions and I didn't do anything. I am unable to access the setting icon to reboot it because it won't even go there

With me it turned out that it was probably caused by salt water. Both times it happened after swimming in the sea, and both times it got replaced. Now I take it off before swimming in the sea. Normal water is okay.
