Charge 3 won't stop vibrating

I just took a hike with my new Charge 3. It vibrated thru the entire 4 miles! It was every few seconds, randomly. Very distracting and drained the battery unnecessarily. I do not have exercise cues on, that was the first thing I checked. There wasn't anything notable on the screen when I looked. It happened when I was moving and when I was stopped. Why is it doing this? It doesn't do this when I take spin or kickboxing and use it to track those workouts.

I am having the same issue regards vibrating all the time. I have tried to reboot using the fitbit and the charger method. 

Neither works, it constantly keeps opening the "notifications" screen.

I let the battery die from being fully charged, which only took a few hours since vibrating all the time & thought this would work but no success

It seems to be an issue. I have not found a better answer than turning off
the Bluetooth when walking. I also find that it pauses itself while in
exercise mode sometimes too. Not a very good teacher really 😞

It seems to be an issue. I still haven't found a better fix than to turn off the Bluetooth which takes away one of the functions that i bought it for! I also notice that it will pause during activity mode therefore not recording the session properly. Quite disappointed really 😞 let me know if you come up with a fix!

I’m having the same issue, and everything says “swipe up to where it says auto pause” but when I swipe up the only thing I see is the GPS option. Super frustrating. I used it in a walk for the first time today and it just kept pausing and unpairing literally every time I stopped even just at a crosswalk to look both ways! As if that’s not bad enough it vibrated like crazy every time too! After about ten minutes of that I gave up and turned the whole thing off and gave up on recording my walk at all. Not impressed.

My Charge 3 just randomly started doing the same thing last night when I went to bed.  It keeps glitching, vibrating, then bringing up the "notifications" screen.

Did you get any answer on how to fix it? or did you figure it out?

Hiya, 

yes and no- none of the suggested ways to fix it worked (or even made sense- the options they were telling me to choose don’t exist on my Fitbit...) so I just did a hard reset and that seemed to fix the issue. It just resets the device, didn’t erase any of the data on my app. Best of luck!

Unfortunately not, although your issue sounds different. Did you try a

Thanks! I think mine is toast, woke up this morning and the screen is white. 😞 I only got about 5 months with this one. Really bummed.

I just got the charge 3 as my 2 screen just blacked out.  I went walking and it wouldn't stop vibrating when in the exercise mode.  I have tried shutting off all notifications and everything I have seen posted. The walk is very unpleasant.  I need help.  Wish I never upgraded even though this has walking as an exercise.  Help!

Have done this 3 times now and I am still getting vibrations through for no good reason. With more than 20 vibration alerts in 20 mins, I found it so annoying I took my fitbit 3 off during my walk, which defeats the point of having it. I would rather have NO vibrations at all than this but seems I can only change between normal/strong there is no off.

I plugged the device in, held the button and all I get is a screen that has two things on it, 1) "Screen Wake" and 2) Notifications.

Neither allows me do do anything.

My Fitbit vibrates when I press the side button. My clock face won’t show up at all and won’t sync to my Bluetooth. I have been trying to fix it for half an hour. Any suggestions?
