My new Charge 3 will not let me swipe to view notifications or to view the apps that are installed on it. What should I do?

Thanks, as I said before, I don’t t really know what’s going on with it. The time is all over the place, it’s not tracking steps, etc and sometimes (mostly) it won’t swipe screens.  Then for a couple of days it works perfectly.

When it freezes you can't swipe at all no matter what way you swipe, up or down or sideways

You have to reset it to get swiping to work after it freezes. I finally
figured it out.

Drat, I did the long reset and that seemed to work, all normal swiping worked as it usually did, Then back to a frozen screen again.  Yesterday I got swiping back by doing the short reset and got through to the hard reset from the settings bit, but after that, swiping stopped after about two minutes.

going to have to replace my charge 3, and I have just gone over the one year guarantee period by almost a month...drat, drat and double drat.  Great Fitbit when  it was Working though.  Note 100% charged, so that is not the issue.

mine did it give or take 3 times has not for a while had it do a weird thing other day where i could feel the vibration if i pressed button or when i did 10,000 steps but could not see time etc on the screen but i did the hard rest when i attached it to charger i had 18 % on battery so was not sure if that may have triggered it but it should not have but the hard reset did work will see how long before it does weird stuff again if lucky it wont

Hey Susan yes just over the year so technically outside warranty. But I contacted fitbit through a chat session. I was lead through a couple resets. Fit bit can monitor somehow at their end. Any way the person I was chatting to confirmed my charge 3 was faulty and he set up a replacement fitbit which is being processed now. Im getting the pebble which is just the working bit not including the straps or charger. Yahoo. Very happy. Go well regard Des
