Charge 3 won't swipe

I've had my Charge 3 for about three months. The swipe feature no longer works? I can't swipe up or down or to the left. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Nope it doesn't work...now I've an expensive watch..that's all

Get ahold of fit bit themselves n if it’s not too old they may send you a
new one. I returned mine and bought the versa 2. They say changing the
clock face may help reset it. I tried every face there was n it didn’t work
for me but, a lot are saying it fixed it for them. Good luck.

You are lucky it is still keeping time. Mine is 45 minutes slow now. I am
getting a replacement under warranty though, thank you Fitbit.

I returned mine and then purchased the versa 2 and haven’t had any trouble.

Hello I reset my Fitbit and it still doesn’t swipe what do you recommend I do ?

Mine didn’t take it either but, several people have said that after they
changed the clock face it swiped again. It didn’t help mine but, it’s worth
a try. Good luck.

I bought a Charge 3 in August....it died about 6 weeks later. They gave me a new one through the warranty and recieved it at the end of September. Now, today November 22, 2020, I ran into the same issue as all of you about the fact that the devise no longer swipes. Without all those other functions, it becomes nothing more than a watch. After going through every step outlined in this forum very carefully and logically, I reached out to Fitbit by virtual chat and all was well in the chat. She said she was forwarding my case number to the warranty team. An hour later I received an email from them saying since I had already had one Charge 3 replaced (after only six weeks of operating), they could not replace this faulty Charge 3 a second time!!!!! I was horrified to hear that. So if you receive a faulty devise more than once, you are on your own. This is the end of Fitbit for me.

Update: November 28. I sent an email back to the "Warranty team" to state that even if I received 5 faulty Charge 3's, I still had 8 months left on my warranty, and until they send me a full working devise, they need to keep replacing it! I asked for my case number to be escalated to a supervisor/manager and would expect a response shortly. So, 1 1/2 days later, a supervisor emailed me, apologizing profusely for all the inconveniences and assured me that I would receive yet another replacement as long as I was under warranty. My SECOND replacement has been shipped. Let's hope the 3rd time's the charm. Note to self (and everyone else). When you feel strongly that there has been a major breach of fairness and what is right.....be persistant and relentness, while staying kind and polite.

Hello.  I just got my new Fitbit verse 3 and the swipe on it is not working.  Connected to charger, Bluetooth on phone and app open.  Tried the 8 second hold and nothing.  The screen says swipe down via the pic but does not react.  Thanks

contact Fitbit via their Facebook page mine was still covered by warranted and they replaced it.

I had to have FitBit replace mine as none of the tips suggested were successful. You might want to contact them directly.

Thats a huge issue with these. I was lucky enough to be able to return mine
for a refund cuz I tried everything and nothing worked.

I'm having the same issue.

 

I've performed both the restart and the "long restart" several times with no success.  I haven't seen the battery icon on my Charge 3 for about a year now, although it does recharge, so it never appears during a restart either.  I don't get the two short one long vibration, I get six short vibrations and then nothing.  Since the screen is blank I can't tell if it turns off and then on again like it is supposed to, but I never get a progress bar.

 

I lost my movement reminders quite a while ago too, even though they show as "on" in settings (I've never shut them off, they just vanished one day).

I am also having the same issue. 

It keeps going to the clock face setting on my watch to choose one randomly. 

Swiping isn't working most the time.
