Charge 3 won’t swipe

My charge 3 will not swipe off the clock face

@SunsetRunner , that sucks! I'd be madbif mine didn't work after I tried the long press reset.  I was mad when I went to start my run and couldn't swipe over to get to the exercises,  had to manually add my workout...everything was syncing g to the app though.  Just got mine in  October,  so having trouble with it so soon was aggravating!  Good luck getting yours back on track!

@Firemn91178, I'm not overly happy as I just got it two days ago, but I have to say the customer service has been very responsive.  Only issue is that now they want it back Smiley Sad

At least they are replacing it.

@Marrrmaduke, not quite bricked, but certainly not fully functional either.  Customer Service had me go through a few more steps, but still getting the same result, so they have asked me to send it back for replacement.  Oh well!  Back to my trusty Seiko for now!

 

I'll be back when I get the new one!

@SunsetRunner, good to hear they are replacing it for you. I have liked mine since I got it and am glad I made the purchase.

 

@Marrrmaduke, how can I change the info next to my profile picture? (username, jogger?) Username was supposed to have an "a" in it and would like to add cycling...

@Firemn91178, just jumping in here, the “jogger” is your “level” in the community-how many posts, votes, etc. you have. Think it is linked to your activity on the boards and is assigned by the system.

I am having the same issue as @SunsetRunner. Word for word.

 

Not registering swipes. Clock face only. No battery icon when charging. Restart tricks not working. Records data though, and syncs. 

 

Any update on the case?

@miguelish, I have not had an issue since I reset mine and got the smile face.  Only issue I am having now is that it is tracking way more elevation gains than I am actually doing.  For instance how, it is 1:30am and I have not gone up any hills or stairs and my Fitbit charge has already logged me with 2 flights of stairs.

@miguelish, I had to have mine replaced. At this point, if you still have the option to return it to the store, I would do it. Otherwise, try contacting Fitbit’s customer service. They had me try a few extra steps, which did not work, and then invited me to send the Charge 3 back for replacement. Hope you get the issues worked out-great little device when working properly.

I followed your instructions but it didn't work.  1.  didn't see a battery figure in the face.  2.  after holding 8 seconds (or 9) nothing happened.  I love the watch overall, but this makes me upset!  😞

Wow! Sorry to hear you had to exchange it. 

 

Surprisingly, it just started working again today.  It now registers my touch and shows the battery icon when connected. I didn't do anything to make it work again. In fact I was in a meeting! Overall it was locked for 24hrs-26hrs. All I did was wait.
