Charge 3 won't swipe

I've had my Charge 3 for about three months. The swipe feature no longer works? I can't swipe up or down or to the left. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I have tried that several times and it hasn’t worked yet. Also tried switching clock face as suggested in another post and that hasn’t worked yet either. Any other ideas?

I tried doing this and I get a smiley face and then the fitbit logo. I can't get to any other screen or swipe option.

Why with this being a huge problem isn’t fit bit addressing the problem? I
have changed clock faces several times and reset several times and nothing
has worked so far.

Mine is only a few weeks old as well. I contacted Fitbit after trying all the recommendations to no avail, and they’ve agreed to send a replacement. Should have a new one soon, and I’m just hoping it doesn’t have the same flaw.

It's so frustrating. I've tried everything to no avail. Only bought it a few months ago. I'll contact Fitbit 😭

Mine stopped swiping today. A quick read through of the thread first and I opted for CrispyBacon's solution on page 2. 

 

Quote from their post "Fix: Just change the clock face using the app. After a you see a big tick on the fitbit, swiping action works again, and the charging indicator came back too."

I changed several times and then I reset it several times also and nothing
worked so I returned it to Walmart before the stores return time wAs up n I
had to go thru more bull**ahem**. I am going to save a little more more n try
the Versa model and hope for better results.

I tried this several times and it still didn’t work. I changed clock face and res it thru every face and nothing worked for me so I returned it back to Walmart. I’ll save a little extra money and try the Versa model.

Just had the same problem and changing the clock face worked. Don't know why but it did.

I have my Charge 3 for over a year and for the past 5 days it’s not swiping. I followed the steps and it will work for a while but then it won’t swipe again. Is it really too old???

Lucky you, nothing I tried worked so I returned the charge 3 and went with
the versa 2. So much better!

I am one of the lucky ones too, I guess. Changing the clock face worked for me. I then changed it back to the one I had before and swipe kept working.

Now to see how long it last till it happens again. I still have 14 months left on the warranty. If it happens again regularly, I will return for money back.
