I know there are only like 3 people that have this device right now, but if anyone else that has it can check...is yours syncing ok? Mine last synced 4 hours ago and when trying to force a manual sync it wouldn’t get past “looking.” I tried the usual fixes - turning bluetooth off and on, removing the C3 from the app and my phone and attempting to re-add it, power cycling my phone...nothing works. The user manual says to press the side button for 8 seconds to reset, but all that does is bring up the screen wake/notifications toggle screen. Just issues due to it being new/unreleased, or is it possible it crapped out on me already?!

Had charge 3 a few weeks. Just stopped syncing despite trying everything. Even tried to pair it with my work phone and my partners phone and still unable to connect. Bluetooth connection appears to be an issue. Any ideas before I lose the will to live? Thanks

The "turn ALL THE THINGS off and on again" crap didn't work for me.
I had to do the most convoluted work around it was ridiculous. I reset it, created a fake fitbit account, paired it there, reset it again, and paired with my regular account. Then it worked for me. I don't know if that was just how the planets aligned or what. It seems the most random things work for people.

Just purchased the Charge 3 this evening..originally it sync'd and asked to do a software update. Did it, now it it lost connection and won't re-connect(sad face despite holding the button in the charger and removing and reinstalling the app on my iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 12.0.
This is ridiculous..had I known about these issues, I would have never purchased this product. Looks like I'll be returning it quickly....waste of money.

@MarreFitbit Have had my Charge 3 for a little over a month now with no issues, other than sometimes syncing taking a while. Today it won't sync at all. I tried unpairing it, forgetting the bluetooth, holding the buttong for 8 seconds, resetting it from in the settings, deleting it from the app to set it up fresh, deleted the app and reinstalled; none of which are working, so now I have a Charge 3 that isn't even linked to my account anymore because when I'm trying to re-pair it to my account, it sits trying to connect forever. Any thoughts to try any get it re-paired and syncing once again? This is my first Fitbit product and I was really enjoying it until today.

I'm pretty sure the Fitbit Charge 3 is objectively terrible. If you don't sync for a few days it starts to fail syncing. Only way to fix is to start from scratch. Again.

I've had the Charge 3 for 3 days and it stopped syncing on the 2nd day. Thought it may be battery issue with my phone or the fitbit itself but I tried everything and not happening.
What am I doing wrong, if anything?

This is an extremely disappointing product! Right out of the box issues!!!
My C3 will not sync, nor be recognized and after hours upon hours of attempting to rectify the issues, NONE of the afore mentioned "fixes" work. I am soooooo frustrated!
After years of being a loyal Fitbit user this has finally done it! No purchaser of a new product from an established manufacturer should have to go through this! The worst part is that I bought two C3's, one that won't work and the other is under the Christmas tree waiting to be disappointingly opened!

Same here. Just got it for my birthday. No syncing at all. Had a previous Fitbit and loved it so I know how this all works. 😞

This is beyond a joke now. Ever since purchasing this device I've been burdened by it. At first I was having issues receiving notifications on the device. Then yesterday I loaded up the Fitbit app because I realised I hadn't been receiving notifications again, to then see my Fitbit hadn't synced since last Tuesday.
Kept trying to sync the device and it kept giving me some stupid "please try again", so I decided to unpair the device and try and pair it again. What a mistake that was!! I can't get the device to pair to my phone no matter what I try. I've tried resetting by holding for 8 seconds and holding for 15 seconds, I've tried clearing user data, I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and even installed two older versions of the app - I've tried it on a different mobile device, (an iOS device which my Charge 2 used to work on, now use a Huawei) and I'm STILL facing problems.
Another stupid issue is that I can't get the device to factory reset - wiping user data does absolutely nothing. All of my steps etc are intact and worst of all, my NFC bank details are still there. What a major security flaw, considering I'm sending it back to the retailer.
I'm not at all happy about this, and won't be purchasing a Fitbit device in the future. Save your money, and your time.
