Charge 3 won’t sync and won’t pair after removing it

I know there are only like 3 people that have this device right now, but if anyone else that has it can check...is yours syncing ok? Mine last synced 4 hours ago and when trying to force a manual sync it wouldn’t get past “looking.” I tried the usual fixes - turning bluetooth off and on, removing the C3 from the app and my phone and attempting to re-add it, power cycling my phone...nothing works. The user manual says to press the side button for 8 seconds to reset, but all that does is bring up the screen wake/notifications toggle screen. Just issues due to it being new/unreleased, or is it possible it crapped out on me already?!

Thanks, it's not the wifi, it's the Charge 3!

Love it, but really hate it! Has been a syncing problem since I unboxed it!

I am having the same problems. I have only had my c3 for a couple of months now I can't get it to repair or sync. My husband has a blaze with no problem.  Ugh!

Update on my issue: it will sync now to a very old, first generation ipad.
It SOMETIMES syncs to my newer iphone. I did nothing to the ipad, btw. But
I will add this: I have two diff. routing systems, a newer one (xfinity,
meh) and an older linksys. If I use the older linksys I can connect/sync my
Charge 3 to the ipad. I don't get this new technology much. I am often
confused when things are made 'easier' - for who? The team of techs who put
it all together? - but for me only make things harder.

My daughter has a c2 and never had an issue, but I waited for her and
better. Guess I should have gone with the older version.

This is my 3rd Fitbit also and I'm gong to take this one back. and going back to using my ALTA. I'm tired of trying to get it to work, what a waste.

Charge 3 Fitbit won’t sync on my iPhone or iPad. Have turned off both devices to reset but neither device will sync once devices turned back on

I had to clear user data and then it paired after that.

Thanks so much. I had to turn off my bluetooth for hours and when its back on, the heart rate didnt show on the app. Its really annoying, especially problems with connectivity. I think when the newer fitness devices come along, i will be so done with fitbit.

Hi guys, hope you are doing fine.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this issue. If you are having issues syncing your trackers, I recommend taking a look at the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provide there.

Now if the issue is directly with pairing, follow the ones in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?. And for all this, make sure that your phones are compatible mobile devices.

See you around. Robot Happy

Has this thread been shown to the developers? This isn't all user error. There are legitimate issues with the Fitbit consistently communicating with our phones. Re-syncing the device and erasing all records it's NOT the solution because it always comes back.

For syncing on iPhone and iPad the article should clearly explain that you also have to do “Forget this Device “ in Bluetooth. Disconnecting is not enough. Need to Forget it.

They will never fix this garbage. I had to get a replacement and it lasted 7 days before sync broke again. No kind of reset fixes it, just a new watch every time. Keep calling support and put them out of business by forcing them to send you more product.

If I keep having this problem... An article that doesn't address the problem is the best bet? Sweet.  Good to know it's a brand new $150 with no support.

Just wondering if yours is still syncing?   When I called customer support they said it was an issue with iPhone 8 and I had to wait until an app update come out addressing this issue.
