Charge 3 won't sync to Huawei Pro 20

Every time I try to sync to my Huawei Pro 20, I have to unpair the charge 3 and then setup as a new device, and then it takes about 15 minutes until it is ready. I'm nearly at the stage of throwing it in the Thames.

Hi there @Clockgate, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this situation. Thank you so much for troubleshooting the syncing difficulties with your Charge 3 prior to contacting us.

I'd like you to confirm if you've followed all the steps provided in the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If so, let's try turning off Background Restrictions/Limitations: Phone settings > Apps & Notifications > Fitbit app > Background restrictions or Background limits.

Then, disable battery limitations:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Advanced > Battery > Battery optimization
  2. Change view to All apps
  3. Search for Fitbit app
  4. Choose Not optimized

Please give the steps above a try to improve syncing with your tracker. Keep me posted, I'll be around.
