Hi @Layla110, thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. I apologize for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond.

I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 stopped syncing to your iOS devices after the update. Thanks for troubleshooting the syncing difficulties prior to contacting us, I'm here to help you.

As my very first approach, I'd like you to please confirm if you've followed the troubleshooting steps provided here: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If so, I recommend checking the following:

- Open Settings app on phone
- Scroll down, tap Fitbit -> Toggle Location to 'Always'
- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned ON

Give this a go and let me know how it goes.

I have the same issue with my Charge 3. I have an iPhone 8plus, and I can’t sync at all since yesterday. I have tried all the suggestions. Restarted the Fitbit more times than I can count. Deleted the Fitbit app and reinstalled it twice: turned on and off my phone.i even tried to reinstall the Fitbit to my phone as a new device, but was unable too.

Same issue. Have done all the same fixes. Not syncing. Hep!

Did this and everything was on the right setting. What finally worked was the same process I used last night. I removed the charger from my app and reinstalled it. Now, it is working. However, this worked temporarily yesterday and then stopped. I see others on the forum are having the same problem.

After I updated my IPad yesterday my Charge 3 too stopped syncing. I have tried all the suggestion to no avail. Any other advice?

This morning I could finally get my Charge 3 to sync to my iPad (after turning on/off Bluetooth multiple times, as well as opening and shutting the app.)  It must have taken 5 minutes in total. Then when I opened up my iPhone, it too had the correct numbers on it, but that was only because the iPad was finally able to sync. My iPhone still can not find my Charge 3.

This has to be an issue with Charge 3 and iOS.  Do you think they will provide a fix?

I can’t get mine to sync this morning. I might call the help line today, but this is obviously a software glitch. I would like to get the Charger 4 when it’s available, but I’m frustrated with this and am rethinking it.

I am beyond frustrated! I have tried every type of fix I can find! Still not syncing! I am glad to hear I am not the only one having this issue.

Nothing is working on this issue of my Charger 3 not connecting and syncing with either my iPhone or iPad after software update was installed.  If you would look at all of the other people complaining about the same issue, it would appear to be something that needs to be fixed on Fitbit side.

I have tried several times to delete the Fitbit app and reinstall it. The app will not install now! Has anyone contacted Fitbit?

I finally was able to fix mine. These are the steps that I took:

  1. Reboot your Fitbit Charge 3 and then your phone.
  2. Refresh Bluetooth connection between devices.
  3. Verify if Fitbit app is installed and/or updated in your phone.
  4. Troubleshoot problem with Always Connected and All-Day Sync features enabled.
  5. Reset Network Settings in your phone if possible.
  6. Restart Fitbit app in your phone.
  7. Uninstall and reinstall Fitbit app.
  8. Factory reset Fitbit Charge 3.

Good luck
