Charge 3 won’t track sleep

The past 3 days my Charge 3 has not tracked my sleep. It’s worked perfectly for weeks and now all of a sudden it’s stopped tracking my sleep, I haven't changed it in anyway, anyone able to help?

I've found that if I don't activate "sleep mode" on the app, and just go to sleep,  it tracks perfectly! Don't know if people have tried that?

I’m having the same problem with no sleep tracking. I’ve followed all the directions as well.

Hi Alexandra, 

Can't you post the further instructions your support team provides on this thread? My Charge 3 has never measured my sleep thoroughly. Sleep Score is meaningless to me. I want a Fitbit that works like it used to - not having to futz with it or switch wrists every night. Can you help?

I’m having the same problem with my Fitbit 4 not tracking my sleep.  And yes I’ve tried all the steps to fix the problem.  Still won’t track sleep.

I went through the entire process of chatting with Fitibit, they even sent me a replacement Charge 3. Still, either no sleep tracking or sporadic -- like it'll tell me I slept 1h14m between 5a-7a, but nothing else. I'm officially done with them. Recommendations for better fitness/sleep trackers welcome. Thanks!

I'm wondering if my sleep number bed that has a sleep tracker as well could be  interfearing with my Charge 3?

Tattoos! I don't know if this will help anyone, but I got a versa 3 for Christmas, and it just will not track sleep, it's been swapped for a new one, I've tried every single troubleshooting tip and spoken to support many times. Their final suggestion is that because my arms are heavily tattooed,it's stopping the device from tracking my heart rate, i did point out that it can do it during the day, but not at night!? Anyway, my husband and I swapped fotbits last night, lo and behold, mine worked perfectly for him, and his did not work on me! So unless I die in my sleep every night, tattoos are the only answer (even though hubby is tattood too)anyway, I'm returning my versa 3 and sticking with my old faithful inspire, as that tracks fine without needing my heart rate.

I had the same problem in the summer and it turned out to be my fan next to my bed when it was on the sleep didn’t track I think it was just the noise the fan was making but it could have been the electrics messing with the Fitbit because when the fan wasn’t on the Fitbit tracks my sleep so have a look at what you’ve got near your bed
