This is my second Charge 3 and this one is fully charged, shows smiley face and time while on the charger .. once off charger black screen. No vibration.... nothing.  No light to pick up heartbeat ... absolutely nothing .

I have had this Device for more than 1-1/2 years and in the last day have experienced the exact same issues I’m seeing here. In the last 24 hours Charging it was “hot”and all the sudden does not retain power and then turns itself off. Wonder what is going on?

I'm having the same issue; I've tried to reset it by putting it on the charger and pressing the button, but it does nothing. and it's nearly fully charged. I also noticed that after I charged it it was displaying the incorrect time. off by an hour. now it's super hot and has a black screen and won't respond to anything. I use it to track my sleep because I have a sleep disorder.

This happened to me also.  Rebooting it while it was charging fixed it.

Thanks for the insight... I ended up calling Fitbit and my charge 3 is toast!! This is the second one to fail so I decided no more Fitbits for me. They said my warranty was no longer in effect and offered me 25% off on the purchase of another device . Fitbit rep. was very sweet.... but I’m disappointed in the product.
