Charge 3 won't turn on or charge

My charge 3 had a black screen. I tried everything I could find on YouTube. I tried turning it off and on. I tried the same thing while it was charged and that didn’t work. I ended up removing it from my account now I can’t get it to turn on or charge. It gets hot now while on the charger.

Hi there, @NelsAB. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 3 before reaching out.

To better assist you, please confirm that you've tried restarting your Charge 3. For instruction, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work and you haven't felt a vibration on your watch during this process, confirm that you've tried the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your Charge 3 using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hello,

I tried every option within the email you provided. The watch itself will not turn on at all now and the glass seems hot now. The screen is black with no charging indicator.
