Charge 3 won't turn on

I am having issues with my Fitbit Charge, the screen won’t come on but there is a flashy green light and I tried to charge and the screen still won’t come on. Why is this happening? I haven’t even had this watch for a month, can you anyone assist?

Both mine and husband the same. Fully charged tried the restart and his comes up with a straight line only, mine gets the smiley face but nothing else and the green lights aren’t flashing like they do on his HELP

Brand new out of the box and nothing I do will get this *&^%% thing to work! This is a lot of money to spend for something so useless and it's going back to the shop tomorrow for a refund. 0 out of 10 😞

P.S. I've tried it on 2 separate devices (a PC and an Android phone)

So, i tried the short restart, the long restart, and changing the clock face with no luck.  My fit bit is still syncing to my phone, and recording my stats, just always a black screen...thank for your previous help, and appreciate any more you have to offer...

Well I am back where I started. Plugged in Charge 3 to recharge but after 24 hrs I have a blank screen/no vibration/no power at all. Can you send a new battery to try or is just time to send a replacement device? I've spent significant time working your suggestions and issue not fixed.

Just Got off the phone with CS because I'm having the same problem with this **ahem** as everybody else. I've had better luck with a $20 Amazon tracker. This company uses the customers as Beta testers. 

The CS rep went through the routine he has written down on his cheat sheet, hold button down 8 seconds Yada Yada Yada still black screen, then 15  seconds Yada, Yada, Yada, black screen, then the rep blames it on the phone, the wi-fi, the bluetooth. how bout the defective software that is in this defective device. Test the product before it goes out to the public.

I was just a person who could not turn my fitbit 3 on - followed the online instructions and fortunately mine now works. I am not anything to do with fitbit and am no expert with anything technological. Hope yours starts working soon.

I too have the same problem with my fitbit 3 I do get a smiley face but then goes blank and so cannot sync to my phone please help.

After trying all of the suggestions short and long resets, and even after getting the smiley face, my Charge 3 goes back to a black screen. I’ve tried everything to no avail. Any other suggestions??

I have tried all the suggestions from this and various other threads on this forum  with no luck. I get the smiley face, but it goes blank again and nothing shows up. I am not able to change the watch face either since the app says the fitbit is not connected. What else do you suggest to try?

My Fitbit charge 3 screen wouldn't come on. I tried holding the side down but was no help. I changed the clock face through the app and boom. Works again 😁😁

My fitbit 3 is blank. I tried the 15 sec reset and it didn't work. I also tried to change the clock and i get, message unable connect to fitbit

I tried everything. plugging it up and holding the button for 15 seconds then removing it from the charger and putting it back on the charger.... I also tried changing the clock interface to no avail. This is the second time my fitbit has stopped showing the display screen.. The first time it happened the troubleshooting advice worked but this time it's not. If this continues, I will be getting rid of my fitbit charge 3 and i will never buy another product from fitbit ever again.

Leave it on charge while holding the button until it comes back on. Then remove from charge

Call customer service...i tried a few different things they wanted me to
do, and then i had a replacement a couple days later..i was having the same
issues.
