Charge 3 won’t turn on

Charge 3 got it last night was working fine all day and I looked down at my wrist it was black so I figured it was just dead ...plug it in and it won’t vibrate turn on or show me any sign that it’s charging ?!

I took mine back to Harvey Norman for an on spot replacement.  Hopefully this one will last longer than 3 weeks.

Mine went black again this week. A friend told me to go into the app and change the click face. It worked! Why does a new device have do many issues for us all?

Get a hold of support if what they tell you does not work they will check
the warranty if it's goid they will send you a email to ship your fitbit to
the warehouse to get fixed or exchanged. Stay on them though

I just tried mine, plug it into the charger, hold the button down for 15 seconds, release the button, unplug it from the charger, wait then plug it back onto the charger, the smiley face should come up, good luck I hope this works

Thank you for your advice it worked. Had my fit bit charge for 3 months. Put it on charge last night. Battery came up so it was charging. Got up this morning and it had a black screen. Did vibrate when i pressed button on left and green light on back was flashing but nothing happened. Was great to see smiley face after i followed your steps. Many thanks.

Just get a hold of customer support. They will send you emails for labels
to send it back it takes a couple of weeks for everything. You can email
them to keep up with the process. It takes a couple of days sometimes to
email you back. They will replace it with no cost to you.

All I did was go in and change my clock face and it turned right back on!

I feel your pain. Mine does not work either. I tried the restart process, gives me the smiley face and nothing afterwards. I never had any issue with my charge2 but I already regret this one. I will contact the customer service for a new one. If anyone would ask I would say stay away from this model.

Try changing your clock screen it sounds weird but it worked for mine.

I have tried but it says my fitbit is not connected. Which makes sense as it is totally turned off. I do not know how could it work for you.

Had to chat with customers service. They tried to help me with a 7 step troubleshooting process. It did not work so they have sent me a new watch FOC. I wanted to upgrade for a better model but they did not offer that option.

I have had that issue many times - randomly

You have to plug it in and hold down the side button for 20 seconds until the smile shows up

Purchased a Charge 3 yesterday trying to get it set up today and nothing but black screen 😞 Suggestions and or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I had a hard time to . Hold your finger on the left side of the watch for 8 to 10 seconds . Also try changing your clock face . And charge it again . Thats what i did snd it is working great now .

The support center told me to change click faces and it would not, I held
it down for 20 seconds no prevail. I eneded up sending it to the warehouse
to be replaced. I was told this was a situation that has been switched for
a new one due to warranty issues

Hello,

Try a restart.....

 

Plug your phone into the charger, then hold the side button in until you see the smiley face.

 

Must be plugged into the charger for a restart.
