I am having issues with my Fitbit Charge, the screen won’t come on but there is a flashy green light and I tried to charge and the screen still won’t come on. Why is this happening? I haven’t even had this watch for a month, can you anyone assist?

It all started with a garbled looking display that subsequently went dark. I have tried EVERYTHING and it is still dark! I restarted, updated, changed clock face. App clearly shows battery is fully charged. App is showing stats so I know it's still working - just no display! And don't tell me to look at the display via the app on my phone! Now what?

Well I've had my replacement for a week and apart from the usual issue of pairing to my phone and tablet (lots of shouting at it normally works 😀) it's behaving itself.
Must admit though the screen seems less sensitive to touch. You literally have to bash it to get it to display.

I noticed tonight my strap was ready for snapping, at the same time I pressed the side button and it's vibrating but nothing on screen. I have tried the plug n and hold for 15 secs let go in plug then plug back on. Still nothing except the vibrate
Thanks

I have tried all advice. I can feel my Fitbit vibrate & I know it is currently tracking by way of my app, but the screen continues to remain black. Help!

I just completed a chat session and was rewarded with either a replacement or 50% off a brand new one! Fortunately my Charge 3 was still under the 1 year limited warranty. Agent was very helpful and understanding!

I have the same issue.
Beginning of the week it wouldn't sync and was at the wrong time.
Did all the trouble shooting.
Reset and got the smiley face - didn't work.
Uninstalled & reinstalled app- didn't work
Tried using different device to sync - didn't work
Haven't touched it all week and saw advice about restarting my device rather than the fitbit so went to try this today and today I have a completely blank screen, when I plugged in to restart with smiley face, when I hold in the button there's a continuous vibration for about 5 seconds, I kept holding but still no smiley face.
Any ideas before I return to the shop with it, only had it around 6 months x

Looks like this is a common problem with charge 3s
"Common" seems to be an understatement...
... yet there's no fix for this, just some workarounds.
