Charge 3 won't turn on

I am having issues with my Fitbit Charge, the screen won’t come on but there is a flashy green light and I tried to charge and the screen still won’t come on. Why is this happening? I haven’t even had this watch for a month, can you anyone assist?

I have tried charging and holding the side button - I can feel the vibration but no smiley face- what are my other options -it stopped working after 15 months

If you purchased it in the EU it comes with a 2yr warranty so contact customer support live chat, they will talk you through the reset steps and once satisfied there is a problem they will email you postage slip to return and replace the unit, my first replacement arrived yesterday after about 10 days total turnaround

You may have a 2 year warranty so try for a replacement

Hi

I am having the same issue. I have tried to restart it, whilst charging and holding down the button for 15 seconds, taking it off charge and putting it back on but it still won’t turn on. Additionally my app won’t let me change the clock face as it’s says the Fitbit couldn’t be detected. Is there anything I can do?

My Charge 3 wont turn on i have tried both of the suggested resets, the screen is still blank.

Depends on your mobile as Fitbit have a list of devices that they support.
If you cannot get a reset with a hard or soft attempt all you can do is try
for a replacement refurbished unit.

I tried to set it up on my tablet, but it saId someone else has the same email- that is me Not someone else.

same here, was stuck on a line and then it went away.  plug it, it vibrates for 15 second, release it, unplug plug back in nothing and it's not shown on bluetooth.   device is new.  will be returning it

I followed the instructions, got the smiley face, felt it vibrate, but the screen is still black. What am I doing wrong? I did this multiple times.

The replies from the community have been wrong.  You need to hold the home button while charge 3 is charging for 20 seconds.  Then take it off the charger and put it back on.  Hold the home button for 30 seconds and the smiley face will appear.  Then it should be good to go.

still no go, just vibrates for 20, unplug plug back, vibrates for 30 and then nothing

Good luck hope it is in warranty, or you could always upgrade to a Charge

It is brand new and failed on update. Was stuck on white line for a day
and then it kinda woke up with vibrating when plugged in but that is it

I have tried the restart but nothing happens. I only see a flashing red light between the charger cable and the fitbit. If i hold the start button down for 8 or 15 seconds it vibrates and nothing. Can you help? Thanks!

Ask them to upgrade to a Charge 4 you may have more luck

I had the same problem after reaching out through different channels (website, Facebook messenger) they replaced my unit with a new one. The device was sent to my home by Fedex

Heads 6are you sure it was new!!! All information from Fitbit themselves
indicated you get a refurbished unit!
