Charge 3 won't turn on

I am having issues with my Fitbit Charge, the screen won’t come on but there is a flashy green light and I tried to charge and the screen still won’t come on. Why is this happening? I haven’t even had this watch for a month, can you anyone assist?

If your device is within warranty period you will get a free replacement by mail. I supposed it is a refurbished unit. Even they sent me one but I doubt it will last as i had different problems with different Fitbit models and this may be my last Fitbit

My charge 3 started w vertical lines, I attempted a restart and now there is no display screen. Help! I changed the clock face and resets twice. Nothing

You have only one alternate and that is to request a replacement, good luck!

I received this Charge 3 as a birthday present on 7/14/19. It has been sporadic at best.

It stopped tracking my heart rate and sleep about 3 weeks ago. Today it stopped tracking my steps. After multiple times going through the restart process the watch failed to sync on multiple occasions. For the last 30 minutes I have a black screen and only vibrations when it is plugged into the charger. In addition each time I tried to restart it with the smiley face it came back with the time of 8:00. I am at my wit's end with this thing.

You have a dead watch! Only option as you are still within warranty is ask
the person who gave it to you to ask for a replacement, good luck!

The same thing happened to me - had mine for 14 months when this happened - warranty is for 1 year - Just don’t buy another Fitbit

I just got my charge 3 from Amazon. I have tried and tried and cannot get it to turn on. It is fully charged and I have tried all the resets mentioned in the forums and cant even get a clock face to show up. What is the problem.

Your watch is dead, only option is a replacement if under warranty!

The screen came back on but nothing is working or tracking for me, not even steps. This thing is truly dead!

They are aware of problems with charge 3. They will call you to ask you a few questions then will guide you through their own rebooting process (even though you may have already done everything they ask you to to do just know it’s policy and they need to have you do it). If the results are the same and you are still under warranty then they will send out a replacement. I was wearing mine so much and in the sun (past Summer) until band actually broke so I let them know; submitted a photo and they sent my same replacement band also. It was easy-peasy 😊. They stay in contact and let you know when they are shipping your item(s) plus you get the tracking number to boot. Great experience overall.

Lucky you! Maybe after all the complaints they are actually acknowledging a
design error. I am on my third watch and really still believe we should
have been offered a full refund or at least an option to purchase a
different model less the cost of the Charge 3. I have a Polar HR monitor
which is over 15 years old and apart replacement batteries and straps still
fully functional. It has been through numerous road races and despite only
water resistant survived 2 river rafting trips. Cannot see my Charge 3
lasting a fraction of that time!

Thank you. I will contact them. As of today I only have a clock function. No tap screen. This is my second Fitbit. I previously had the Alta hr and it failed at 14 months. Out of warranty of course.

My Fitbit Charge 3 was working fine till I charged it and now the light won’t come on. It still works with app on the phone. I have tried to reset and change clock faces. Still no light. It’s always something with this fit I got it Mother’s Day last year and it the screen has always had lines in it now black screen.

I contacted support today with all of my issues. They walked me through several steps to no avail and then decided it was too far gone. They are sending me a replacement watch but this is my last time with Fitbit. Too many problems for my liking!!!

I'm having the exact same problem, won't vibrate, black screen, green light flashing , my fitbit is 3 weeks old,did you fix it?
